And the songs! Oh the songs. It was just so us. We weren't the mushy romantics to be very inclined to like slow ballads. But there is a certain affinity to more slow rock or alternative songs.
A week prior to our wedding, I was exchanging Facebook messages with Leo Nicolas. We were discussing possible songs and music, and how E and I already have a song in mind. It was an Imagine Dragons song (one of my favorite bands!). Thankfully though, Notion in Motion's music leans a lot to these kinds of songs as well--so it wasn't hard for us to talk about which bands (or genre) would fit.
The day before the wedding, he sent another song from OneRepublic (another great artist!) and I liked it too.
On the day itself, they were just a quiet bunch working in the background. They were very masipag in taking shots. One, two or three times over--to get the best angles, lighting, etc. In the end, he used the song we picked out combined with the song he picked and it just meshed well.
The story-telling was just superb. They weren't the kind who just put together the music and the shots so aimlessly. Every shot had meaning and everything flowed so smoothly together. And best of all, everyone felt the love that was very much all over the place that day. When we said there was so much love and happiness--it wasn't figurative. There really was much love and a lot of smiling people. And Notion in Motion's video reflected all of that. We couldn’t be happier.
For this review's purpose, I'm posting the video again HERE.
